On Friday, Ukrainian President Zelensky met with a bipartisan group of US Senators and warmongers before his meeting with President Trump.
The meeting was held at the Hay Adams Hotel across from the White House and took place before Zelensky went to the White House.
Zelensky wrote:An important visit to the United States. In Washington, I met with a bipartisan delegation from the U.S. Senate. As you watch the video below, you see US senators acting like children with complete joy as they meet the megalomaniac who refuses peace with Russia.
Our discussions focused on the continued military assistance for Ukraine, relevant legislative initiatives, my meeting with President Trump, efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace, our vision for ending the war, and the importance of robust security guarantees.
We take pride in having strategic partners and friends like the United States. We are grateful for the unwavering bicameral and bipartisan support for Ukraine throughout all three years of Russia’s full-scale aggression.
Have they ever treated President Trump with such excitement? No, of course not.
After Zelensky met with these US Senators, he then went to the White House, where he:-disrespected the US President and his cabinetIt was a complete disaster.
-spoke over both President Trump and VP J.D. Vance
-called J.D. by his first name and not the title
-Argued with Trump and Vance
-Disrespected the American audience
-And then, he was escorted from the White House
Zelensky did not come to make peace. He came to continue the war and the devastation of Ukraine.
How much did this earlier meeting with the jumpy, happy US Senators have to do with it?
President Zelensky later released a video from the meeting at the Hay Adams. An important visit to the United States. In Washington, I met with a bipartisan delegation from the U.S. Senate.

Here is a screengrab from the video and a list of identified US Senators.
They don’t want you to know about the meeting!Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)This was a disgrace and undermined President Trump’s historic peace talks. Remember this when the primary season comes around!

What’s shocking is that after meeting and taking photo with Zelensky, RINO Lindsey Graham slammed him, calling the meeting “an absolute, utter disaster” and openly questioning whether Zelensky is “redeemable in the eyes of Americans.”
Graham: I’ve been to Ukraine eight or nine times since the war started. I understand the consequences of Putin’s actions against Ukraine. I appreciate what the Ukrainian people have done. They fought like tigers. At the end of the day, I was hoping that this minerals deal, which would be transformative in the relationship, would go over well. I talked to Zelensky this morning. Don’t take the bait. President Trump was in a very good mood last night.
Somebody asked me, am I embarrassed about Trump? I have never been more proud of the President. I was very proud of JD Vance, standing up for our country. We want to be helpful. What I saw in the Oval Office was disrespectful, and I don’t know if we can ever do business with Zelensky again. I think most Americans saw a guy that they would not want to go in business with. The way he handled the meeting, the way he confronted the president, was just over the top. So, I think the relationship between Ukraine and America is important, vitally important, but can Zelensky do a deal with the United States? After what I saw, I don’t know.
I think he has made it almost impossible to sell to the American people that he’s a good investment.
He either needs to resign and send somebody over that we can do business with, or he needs to change.
The President is responsible for US Foreign Policy, NOT the US Senate. It's the Senate's job to ratify treaties, not negotiate them. And Lindsey Graham... what a backstabbing weasel... jes' sayin'!

How terrible it would be for fascism to be undermined.
FYI, d0n0ld did not meet with Zelensky to make peace. The minerals deal was BS. The territory that contains the minerals is held by Russia. Putin's puppet won't do squat to see to it that territory is returned to Ukraine.
Copilot: It does seem puzzling, given the circumstances. If Trump isn't willing to commit to either negotiating the return of those territories or supporting Ukraine's fight to reclaim them, the proposal feels more like a symbolic gesture than a practical plan. It might have been intended to project an image of engagement or leadership on the issue, even if the follow-through seems unlikely. [end]
Friday’s meeting turned into nn ugly and unprecedented confrontation in the Oval Office as President Donald Trump’s hostility toward Ukraine and its President, along with his persistent affinity for Russia’s autocratic ruler.
As President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance berated Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the elected leader of a Country that has been under attack from Russia since 2014, saying he’s “un-thankful” “ungrateful,” “disrespectful” and “gambling with millions of lives.” “And threatening world war three”
The Democratic American’s are backing Zelensky. But Trump saw right through that and would have NONE of it.
The extraordinary embarrassing scene left Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States, Oksana Markarova, who was in the room, holding her head in her hands in shame — an image that went viral.
Previous American Presidents have had plenty of these tense exchanges with their allies, but often in Private and never in a room full of the press, and Cameras like this.
Other American politicians had suggested that the Ukrainian President had spoiled. “Zelensky ungratefully expected America to bankroll and escalate another war forever while disrespecting the American President,” “The entitlement is insulting to working Americans.” In fact it was said that this was Zelensky’s plan all along. To get Trump and the Americans as leverage to show the Russians their new found strength. But Donald Trump saw right through him and would have no part of involving America to have “Boots on the Ground”m in Ukraine.
The Democrats were quic to Blame the hostility on Trump .
Democratic lawmakers called Trump’s conduct a betrayal of democracy and an ally. Sen. Jack Reed of Rhode Island, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee, condemned Trump’s treatment of Zelenskyy as a “political ambush” that played into the hands of Putin.
“President Zelenskyy and the people of Ukraine are fighting for their very lives and existence,” Reed said in a statement. “To mock Ukraine and our allies is a travesty that only benefits Putin.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont lambasted Trump in a post on X. “Sorry, President Trump. We believe in democracy, not authoritarianism.”
The meeting in the Oval Office started routinely enough, with Trump saying it was “an honor” to have Zelenskyy at the White House and the two would sign an agreement that would grant the U.S. a share in Ukraine’s mineral wealth.
But the divide between the two leaders became clear when reporters asked about the details of a possible Cease-fire and if the U.S. Was Prepared to Provide Security Guarantees to Ukraine.
Trump dismissed the idea as irrelevant. “I don’t want to talk about Security Guarantees , because I want to get the deal done,” Trump said. “Security Guarantees is the problem. That was NEVER on the table.
For months, Zelenskyy has argued that any Cease-fire or peace agreement has to include security commitments from European countries and the U.S. to help arm and protect Ukraine from further aggression from Russia. European leaders have endorsed Zelenskyy’s stance, and France and the United Kingdom have indicated they would be ready to send troops to back up a peace accord.
Vance said: “Mr. President, with respect. I think it’s disrespectful for you to come to the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media.”
As Zelenskyy tried to respond, Trump berated him. “What you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country that’s backed you far more than a lot of people say they should have.”
Zelenskyy warned Trump and Vance that without Ukraine holding Russia back, Putin would eventually strike at NATO’s eastern flank in the Baltics and Poland, possibly pulling America into a conflict.
As Trump knew all along that Zelensky wanted America to get Ukraine. into NATO and that was what was his intentions right from the start of the meeting.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina:
Graham called the meeting a “complete, utter disaster” and said he’s “never been more proud” of Trump.
“What I saw in the Oval office was disrespectful and I don’t know if we can ever do business with Zelenskyy again.”
Secretary of State Marco Rubio:
“Thank you Mr. President for standing up for America in a way that no President has ever had the courage to do before. Thank you for putting America First. America is with you!”
House Speaker Mike Johnson, Louisiana:
“The death and destruction of the Russian-provoked war needs to stop immediately, and only our American President can put these two countries on a path to lasting peace. President Zelenskyy needed to acknowledge that, and accept the extraordinary mineral rights partnership proposal that President Trump put on the table. What we witnessed in the Oval Office today was an American President putting America first.”
The ball is now firmly in Zelensky's court. If he wants continued American support, he needs to stop the games and start delivering on his promises. Until then, Trump is right to hold firm. After all, isn't that what we elected him to do?
This it reconfirms my belief that President Trump rightfully kicked Zelensky' out of the White House, and to the Curb.
...but socialism and neoliberal global corporatism? Perish the thought!
Let no one slant drill or mine into the DMZ! Where would "peacekeepers" be stationed? By the drilling rigs?
Democratic socialists (such as myself) oppose neoliberal global corporatism.
That's not the issue. What you would replace it with, THAT's the issue.
btw - You're acting in lock-step with the globalists over Ukraine.
No.
Dervy and the globalists on parade!
