AI Summary of Domino Theory:
The domino theory was a geopolitical theory popular during the Cold War, suggesting that if one country fell to communism, neighboring countries would also succumb, like a row of falling dominoes. This fear fueled U.S. intervention in various global conflicts, including the Vietnam War, to prevent the spread of communism

BS. d0n0ld is a moron, not a master manipulator.
^^The real moron^^
^^Can see Trump's genius, but can't admit it^^
LOL.
CNN: Smartphones and computers are now exempt from Trump’s latest tariffs. link
Why can't Americans manufacture smartphones and computers, Minus? I thought the whole point of d0n0ld's tariffs was to encourage manufacturers to build factories in the united states and employ Americans. So why doesn't trump want American workers to assemble smartphones and PCs?
Because today, those are jobs for robots. What we need are millions of robots assembling FabLabs. A FabLab in every house's garage. A Prosumer in every house.
:P
What we're finding is the minimum building blocks for a civilization is roughly 20 parts. So what's interesting about the amino acids is they're not interesting. They're hydrophobic or hydrophilic, basic or acidic. They have typical but not extremal properties. But they're good enough you can combine them to make you.
So what this is leading towards is technology doesn't need enormous global supply chains. It just needs about 20 properties you can compose to create all technology as the minimum building blocks for a technological civilization. - So there's going to be 20 basic building blocks based on which the self-replicating assemblers can work?
- Right. And I say that not philosophically, just empirically, that's where it's heading. And I like thinking about how you bootstrap a civilization on Mars, that problem. There's a fun video on bonus material for the movie where with a neat group of people we talk about it because it has really profound implications back here on Earth about how we live sustainably.
- What does that civilization on Mars look like that's using ISRU, that's using these 20 building blocks and does self-assembly.
- Go through primary, secondary, tertiary, quaternary. You extract properties like conducting, insulating, semiconducting, magnetic, dielectric, flexural. These are the kind of roughly 20 properties. With those, those are enough for us to assemble logic and they're enough for us to assemble actuation. With logic and actuation, we can make microrobots. The microrobots can build bigger robots. The bigger robots can then take the building block materials and make the structural elements that you then do to make construction. And then you boot up through the stages of a technological civilization.
Do that and impose a Shanzhai legal system.... where there are no such things as Intellectual Properties and Copyrights.
American robots in American factories maintained by American workers can't assemble PCs and smartphones? Who knew?
Whose side is d0n0ld on? Is he on the side of American workers or Chinese workers?
Moron is too polite, FJ. Butt I won't go further, since it will be quite grotesque.
Oops, another auto correct blunder. But, not Butt.

Can they fabricate all the parts In-SITU? Most microprocessors come from Taiwan (China).
You've already forgotten all those "supply chain" issues from Covid? US Auto Mfrs backed up in the factories for lack of Taiwanese chips?
It'll be years before all those US chip infrastructure investments come on line.
Minus: It'll be years before all those US chip infrastructure investments come on line.
Copilot: The CHIPS Act, also known as the "Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors for America Act", was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Representative Tim Ryan (D-OH) on July 1, 2021. It was later signed into law by President Joe Biden on August 9, 2022. [end]
d0n0ld will take credit though, NO DOUBT.
d0n0ld in the future: "Chips are now being manufactured in the united states, ALL due to my tariffs".
Unless he's dead. Then other republicans will be giving him credit.
btw, it was my impression that d0n0ld thought manufacturing plants could be brought online in a matter of weeks or months. If he really wanted to incentivize companies to move manufacturing to the united states, he could have tied the corporate tax rate drop he signed in Turd-1 to such activities. But he didn't. Due to being a clueless moron who only THINKS he knows what he's doing.
Copilot: Your idea of tying tax rates to employment levels is intriguing -- it could potentially encourage companies to hire more American workers. Tariffs, on the other hand, are designed to protect domestic industries by making imported goods more expensive, but they can also lead to higher costs for consumers and businesses. Many economists argue that targeted tax incentives, like the one you propose, might be a more effective way to boost domestic manufacturing and employment without the unintended consequences of tariffs. [end]
They're online? Did they install them in all those EV refueling stations that Biden built, or are they still waiting for all those mandated DEI hires to magically materialize like the EV charger makers are?
The "impressions" of a TDS suffering
"I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the impressions" of a TDS suffering fool doesn't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that."
TDS sufferer = Minus FJ.
...but not today. :(
FYI, the Chinese trade minister Chen Biao disputes that d0n0ld has the leverage.
Every day.
Exactly.
lol! He needs us a lot more than we need him.
