That was the trump inflation surge. donald trump bungled the covid response which caused a mess that Joe Biden cleaned up. And now that trump is president again, he is taking credit for what Joe Biden did. Things would be MUCH better if Kamala Harris was president and continuing the progressive economic policies of the Biden administration.
Now donald trump, in his second administration, has bungled us into an unwinnable war with Iran. But (of course) when the next president (a Democrat) takes over, republicans will blame him (or her) for what donald trump caused.
That's the cycle that keeps repeating... republicans break government (and the economy) and Democrats fix it. Then a republican is elected because the Democrat didn't fix things fast enough. And, when things continue improving under the republican because of what the Democrat did, the republican takes credit.
