I think the documents thing is flimsy. There isn't even one person in the former Trump administration that you could credibly convince them that Trump actually knows how to read.
No, the real story is why the FBI, knowing that Trump hates America and everything it stands for and has threatened to shoot people on Fifth Avenue and nuke hurricanes (the people of southern Alabama and the Florida panhandle should thank the National Weather Service for defying Trump's bizarre orders to move Hurricane Dorian into weapons range) did not plant this dangerous psycho's face in the dirt and give him the George Floyd knee to the neck treatment. Why not just release the warrant? Apparently the info about "probable cause" for the search/seizure is under "seal"

She explains that they initially wouldn’t even let her see the warrant, but then did; they were reluctant to let them have it. It’s not clear from what she says if they ultimately were able to obtain it at some point. She also explained that the probable cause for the warrant was sealed, so that they can’t even know what it was unless they go to court to find out.
What was the FBI looking for?
President Trump declassified a binder on January 19th, 2021 that contains hundreds of pages about the Crossfire Hurricane scandal. It contains damaging information about the corrupt actors involved with our government. Two different DOJ Attorney General’s have defied President Trump’s direct lawful order to publish the binder in the Federal Register. It’s been 19 months as the DOJ defies the order, and every FOIA request to make it public.
Even if we could step into a radically different, barely recognizable alternate universe where the Donald Trump there actually is smart enough to realize the National Weather Service doesn't create and steer hurricanes no matter how much he blusters about firing them, you still have the matter of his trying to enter faked slates of electors into the National Archives to attempt to legitimize his fraud in the 2020 election. We know for a fact the water is muddied further with the existence of a guy named John Barron that does a pretty spot on impersonation of the serial liar Donald Trump that is good enough to fool voice print analysis. So, the Attorney General's in question simply do not know if they were being ordered to break the law and insert falsified documents into the Federal Register by a duplicitous serial lying President, or by a weird voice actor that sounds like him right down to telling everyone he's great in the third person, like Bob Dole overdosed on Al Franken Stuart Smalley skits.
That's a lot of chaff in the air, and no wheat. Probably the safest path forward is to always keep in mind that Trump is and always has been full of shit, and nothing else.

Way off in red herring land. The only person probable cause needed to be shown to was the judge that signed the search warrant. That judge was satisfied, so warrant was issued.
It's up to Trump if he wants to publicize the warrant to show what the FBI was authorized to search and what they were looking for.
Apparently the FBI found what they were looking for, otherwise Trump would be jumping up and down screaming the FBI has nothing on him.
I don't think his argument that the FBI has no power to investigate crimes is going to pay well outside the 38 IQ and below crowd. I mean, it's right there in the name...Federal Bureau of INVESTIGATION.
