For those of you who know it, or maybe to young to know it. President Obama believed he had the constitutional right to limit the press coverage of his administration., Yrs he SHOULD HAVE KNOWN IT , AND MAYBE HE REALLY DID?
Why did President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed the Communist Control Act in 1954? It was because Congress recognized the party as an instrument of a hostile foreign power intent on overthrowing our American constitutional government. That finding remains still is the law of the land. Membership and organized support were never meant to enjoy the same privileges as legitimate political activity.
Today the same exact ideology still operates openly in all of our city halls, activist groups, and campaigns that treat American institutions as obstacles rather than inheritances worth defending. Legal technicalities and shifting cultural norms have allowed it to persist while the original statute just gathers dust.So, it seems as if many people especially the younger generation in the Democratic Party today!
Enforcing the Act would not criminalize their mere opinion. It would restore the distinction between protected speech and organized efforts to dismantle the Republic from within. A nation that forgets why it passed such a law in the first place risks repeating the very vulnerabilities it once chose to confront.. And the end result is what has happened to the Democratic Party as we know it today. Do people such as Zohran Mamdani and Alexandria Ocasio-Corte, or Cory Booker who are two of the most prominent progressive and democratic socialist figures in today’s Democratic Party

btw, my "no" is in regards to Thomas Sowell's "cracker culture" being discredited and debunked. It can't be "ascendent" because it's not real. Your post title should be "Trump: White Supremacy Ascendent". Because that's what happened. And the vast majority of Black Americans voted against White Supremacy and it's champion, donald trump. But the ascendancy will be short-lived. The next president elected in 2 years will be a Democrat.
donald trump's approval ratings are sinking and will continue to sink as he continues fVking things up. Poor Whites should vote for Democrats.
