We have been over this before. The right approach is a national trade policy passed by Congress. And to implement them gradually so companies can plan for the implementation. Companies aren't going to make long term plans based on tariffs put in place by a presidential administration (which can be changed a few short years later). But trump is raising and lowering them willy nilly and it's playing havoc with the world economy. But trump (and you) have no idea how to implement tariffs or how they work. AT ALL. They can work and we should use them. But NOT in the manner trump is implementing them, which isn't accomplishing his (stated) goal of bringing jobs back to America. That's not happening. Look it up.
Also... I gave you the chance to confirm you didn't agree that trump's war with Iran was a good idea (as the cartoon implies it was). You have not done so. I will take that as confirmation that you agree and are now fully maga again (instead of "America First"). And you now fully support the war in Iran. I knew you'd come around.

You think it's the right approach because (like trump) you're completely clueless re tariffs and trade policy (what works and what doesn't work). trump (as president) could have advocated for a national trade policy and gotten republicans on board. Democrats would have supported a national trade policy. But he has made ZERO effort to implement tariffs correctly. Because he's a fascist who thinks he can rule by dictate instead of working with others (democracy).
