Killing the "save america act" saves us from rigged elections. That's the entire point of the legislation.

Do you have your ID yet so that you can shop in an official NYC subsidized grocery store/ bodega? You don't need one to vote, just to buy food.

I call Mamdani's policies the "Kill every remaining small business in NYC Act"

If you bring me a photo of your ballot in November that has voted straight "Democratic" I can ensure you a NYC Food Purchase ID..

I don't live in NYC and have no plans to move there. Giving people access to low priced staples sounds like a very good idea, though. There are no small businesses to be killed providing this service in many areas. That's what Mandani's plan addresses. It seems you are referring to your delusions. I don't want or need a "NYC Food Purchase ID".

Except for these few subsidized outlets, NYC is destined to become a food desert.

That's the problem Mayor Mamdani's initiative addresses. It isn't causing, it's fixing. Your premise that the opposite will happen is false. The idea is to make low cost staples and fresh produce and fruit available in places where it isn't. The idea isn't to make these things available in places where small grocers are already providing them and put them out of business. So, no, that absolutely will NOT happen.

I didn't watch that second video, due to the person behind the United Spot being a moron. Going by the displayed screen, I have to wonder why Chuck Schumer would be in on the cover up of Mitch McConnell's death. Doing so would be of no benefit to Democrats. The opposite is true as far as I can reason.

Mitch is for Trump's bill? Who knew/

My comment was about Chuck Schumer. It seems you didn't even read what I wrote. I think that must be the case often. You just see that I replied, then probably have a delusion about what it was I wrote and reply to that.

Yes, less is more in commieland.

Ever projecting, eh Derv?

...a place that exists solely in your delusions.

In NYC, under Mamdani, more is more. Mamdani is raising revenues by taxing people who can afford it and The People are benefiting. Wealthy people reaping the benefits of living in the United States (and disproportionately using public resources/infrastructure) SHOULD pay more in taxes.

No.

And you are dodging the question yet again. I never claimed that Mitch McConnell supported the save america (from Democrats getting more votes) act (by cheating).

But his reasoning certainly has nothing to do with Mitch wanting Democrats to win.

Why Mitch McConnell opposed the "save America act" (information via Gemini)...

1. Opposing the Federalization of Elections: Throughout his multi-decade career, McConnell has consistently fought against top-down, federal mandates on how states run their elections. The SAVE America Act would establish sweeping federal rules requiring specific proof of citizenship documents nationwide. To traditional constitutional conservatives like McConnell, this kind of national mandate represents a massive expansion of Washington's authority over a power that the U.S. Constitution explicitly grants to individual states.

2. Guarding the Rules of Budget Reconciliation: When hardline Republicans tried to force the bill through by attaching it as an amendment to a massive budget reconciliation package, McConnell voted with Democrats to block it. He did this because budget reconciliation is legally reserved strictly for tax and spending measures under the Senate's "Byrd Rule". Bypassing the rules to cram a major non-budgetary policy bill into a spending package violates the institutional norms McConnell has spent his career protecting.🛑

Mamdani's racial communism/ islamism for white dhimmi's to pay the jizya is absurd.

Joe Conservative said...

You forgot #3... TDS.

Les Carpenter said...

Keep digging. Eventually you'll find something truthful. Maybe.

Joe Conservative said...

McConnell doesn't have TDS? He doesn't fear his ChiComm transportation interests will be adversely impacted by Trump's tariffs?
