Has the Internet Broken Institutional Gatekeeping?

...or Just the Institutions Themselves?

TPUSA has fallen, the Republican Party has fallen (mostly), The Democratic Party is falling (Mamdani).  Who's next?

...or is this all just a lull before the Techbro AIs more actively take over and start shouting everyone down?

Dear Neighbor,

As we celebrate 250 years of American independence, let us remember that the strength of our nation has never come from one thing alone. It comes from our families, our communities, our faith, our willingness to serve others, and from ordinary people doing extraordinary things every day. It is found in parents raising good children, neighbors helping neighbors, volunteers giving their time, small business owners opening their doors each morning, and the countless men and women who put on a uniform to protect freedoms, that many of us enjoy without a second thought.

America has never been perfect, but generation after generation has answered the call to leave it better than they found it. That enduring commitment to service, sacrifice, and personal responsibility is what has carried our nation through 250 remarkable years, and it is what will carry us through the next 250

...or will we simply all just program our own AI Agents to spam everyone else on the planet and drown us all in noise?

The fascist right has been drowning America with lying bullsh*t noise for years. Ignoring it for what it is, bullsh*t, is the only sensible thing to do.

I hate the Left's Institutionally captured government. I don't know about Les. I'm thinking he might agree with me. But you LOVE the right's Left's ideological and institutionally captured government. The ideology that captured it being White Supremacy. And the institutions that captured it being the oligarch controlled corporations. And you JUST criticized NY primary voters for selecting non institutional candidates, claiming that general election Democratic voters would stay home for this reason. So, your "criticism" of Les was actually a praise?

Minus: Voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris^^ .. because he hates the Left's Institutionally captured government.

Nope. I voted for them because they could win. The presidency can only be won by a candidate who has viable path to victory. Cornel West (who you suggested I vote for) had zero chance of being elected president. I didn't want donald trump to win and thought Kamala Harris would be a much better choice. I could have voted for another candidate, but not any candidate who wasn't donald trump and aligned with my values that had any chance of actually becoming president.

btw, the primary voters selected Kamala Harris when they voted for the Biden/Harris ticket. The VP taking over for the president (if need be) is in the Constitution. So your "selected" (instead of elected) argument is BS.

fyi, the last elected president who was not a Democrat or a Republican was Zachary Taylor in 1848, who was a Whig.
