Westbound armies have never been able to take the Ukraine without outside assistance. In history, ever. Even the Mongols couldn't do it.
Russia has no outside assistance that matters where it counts. Crimea and the Donbas region will be under Ukrainian control by spring. And in the meantime, Georgia and Kazakhstan aren't going to be polite about a Putin afraid to go outside.
Russia strategically withdrew to focus on it's Feb 22 stated objectives of liberating the two stated provinces. Afterwards, the Russian border with Ukraine will be to their west. :)

I'd sure hate to be a Ukrainian soldier in about 4 months after Russia's 1 million fresh troops march into the Donbas after completing infantry training. The Russian force in Ukraine is currently capped at 200k.
Ukrainians haven't had any trouble wiping out equipped and trained professional active duty Russian troops. What's so special about poorly trained conscripts with no morale, no equipment, and no leadership? Human wave attacks? Russia tried that against the Nazis. Iran tried that against Iraq. Persia tried that against Sparta at Thermopylae. And so on.

...with all the account switching I do, I know Blogger loses a lot of my comments... even one's I have posted and actually seen them posted... so I think it has a lot to do with bugs in the Google and Blogger account management systems and between your system and the Apps/Programs you're using.
