Who REALLY Controls the World?

Lucas Nolan, "Elon Musk’s Starlink Defies Brazilian Court Order, Refuses to Block X in Country"
Elon Musk’s satellite internet service, Starlink, has openly defied a Brazilian court order to block access to the social media platform X in the country, further escalating the ongoing dispute between the billionaire and Brazilian authorities.

The New York Times reports that the battle between Elon Musk and the Brazilian government has reached new heights as Starlink, the satellite internet service controlled by Musk through SpaceX, informed Brazil’s telecom agency, Anatel, that it would not comply with orders to block access to the social media platform X. This defiance comes amidst a series of court orders and fines aimed at curbing what Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes perceives as the spread of disinformation and hate speech on the platform.

Starlink’s refusal to block X is the latest development in a months-long dispute between Musk and Justice Moraes. The judge has been leading a censorship campaign to clean up the Brazilian internet by ordering social networks to suspend accounts he believes are spreading disinformation, hate speech, or threats to democracy. Many of these orders have targeted prominent right-wing figures, making Justice Moraes a top enemy of former President Jair Bolsonaro and his supporters.

The conflict escalated when X began ignoring orders from Justice Moraes to block certain accounts. In response, the judge threatened to arrest X’s legal representative in Brazil, prompting Musk to pull the company’s team from the country. On Friday, Justice Moraes ordered Anatel to block X across the nation, citing the company’s lack of a physical presence in Brazil. He also warned that individuals using virtual private networks (VPNs) to circumvent the blackout and access X could face daily fines of nearly $9,000, more than the average Brazilian’s annual earnings.

The satellite internet service has seen rapid growth in Brazil since its arrival in 2022, particularly in rural areas and the Amazon rainforest, where traditional internet infrastructure is limited. Starlink has provided fast internet connections to remote communities, including indigenous tribes, for the first time, significantly impacting their way of life.

However, the ongoing dispute has raised questions about the future of Starlink’s operations in Brazil. Anatel’s president, Carlos Baigorri, has stated that the agency could revoke Starlink’s license to operate in the country, which would, in theory, prevent the company from offering connections to its Brazilian customers. If Starlink continues to provide service without a license, Anatel could seize the company’s equipment at its 23 ground stations in Brazil, which help improve the quality of its internet connections.

If I were Brazil, I wouldn't f*ck with Elon.  He has more "commercial SpaceX ICBMs" than anyone else on the planet. He can literally throw "rods from god" down on your head, anywhere on the planet (and beyond).

  1. What The HELL Is Going On Here? Is this what we can expect with a KamalaHarris and Tim “COMMIE” Walz administration?

ANOTHER ILLEGAL ALIEN from Mexico, who was previously Deported 16 Times from the United States, has been sentenced to just one year in prison for causing a crash that KILLED 64-year-old Scott Miller in Conifer, Colorado.

In June, 47-year-old Ignacio Cruz-Mendoza was arrested for vehicular homicide concerning the crash that killed Miller but the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office filed only misdemeanor traffic violation charges against the illegal alien.
Before prosecutors could file felony charges against him, Cruz-Mendoza pled guilty the following month to the traffic violations — making him eligible for just a one-year prison sentence for killing Miller.

“I’m mad because the most this man could get is a year for murdering my husband because the DA refused to charge him with more charges,” Deann Miller told local media.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, Cruz-Mendoza was driving a semi truck for the Indio, California-based Monique Trucking company on Highway 285 near Conifer when the vehicle veered off the road, causing the pipe and angle iron he was carrying to spill on top of five vehicles in his path.

In one of those vehicles was Miller, who was killed at the scene. Another driver in a separate vehicle suffered serious injuries as a result.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials confirmed that Cruz-Mendoza is an illegal alien who has been deported from the U.S. to Mexico a total of 16 times over the last two decades.
Cruz-Mendoza was first deported in May 2002 after he was arrested on local charges in Oregon the month before. Since then, he has been deported and has repeatedly returned to the U.S., likely through the nation’s porous southern border.
ICE officials have placed a detainer on Cruz-Mendoza, requesting custody of him when he is released from prison in Jefferson County. After his year is up or almost up, he should be prosecuted federally on the repeated illegal border jumping, and allowed to stay in the US in a Federal Prison a few more years, (as he obviously likes it in America) before getting kicked out of the country again.
Will the county hold him for IC E or release him without notice?? Curious Minds Want to Know, As Meanwhile The January 6 demonstrators got 5 to 20 years for Misdemeanor Trespassing, GO FIGURE!.
What the actual hell is going on here? Isn't it obvious to all by now?
In California those Idiotic Morons that are running the State are giving illegal aliens $150,000 to buy a house which only has to be repaid if they sell tHE house. Pelosi's simpering remarks about illegals and the American dream when asked about it, on and on.
We don't need these workers to do work,WE NEED THEM TO GO BACK TO THEIR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN WE WERE DOING JUST FINE BEFORE THESE ILLEGAL INVADERS CAME HERE. .

  3. NPR: ...national statistics show no sign of a migrant-driven crime wave. Violent crime is trending down, after the spikes of 2020-2021, even as migration has surged. Past studies have found immigrants to be less likely to commit crimes. 5/9/2024

    1. Did I just miss the party? What's this about some old outdated piece of NPR liberal propaganda from May 2024? That's ancient history Derpwood.

    2. Somebody should inform the members of the Venezuelan "Tren de Aragua" that studies say that they're supposed to be committing less crimes now that they've come to America...

  4. Justice Moraes is playing with fire. Brazilians aren't ignorant. They know they're getting screwed by their government when it comes to the internet censorship. Many of them see Elon Musk as a champion of freedom, knowing that he grew up in South Africa and saw censorship.

  5. It is currently 2024, Mystere. HOW is an article from earlier this year "ancient history"? Unless "ancient history" is your NewSpeak for "recent". Or it could simply be that you are an utter moron.

fyi, Minus, the "P" stands for "public".

  6. Elon trashed Twitter. He discarded the brand name that (by itself) worth a minimum of $4 billion. Though others estimate it to be worth 15 to 20 billion. Yet the "brilliant" Turd Elon flushed the Twitter brand value down the toilet and renamed it "X". I'm calling it Twit-Turd as long as it exists and is owned by Elon.

Now foreign courts are banning it in their countries. Brazilians can use Threads. Mystere is concerned about hate and misinformation being censored. Because those are the tools of the right.

Elon (on his Twit-Turd platform) gives more free speech to rightturd White Supremacists to write the N-word and tweet-turd antisemitism. Also less free speech for Lefties. Also journalists reporting negatively on Elon.

Elon saying he is a "free speech absolutist" = bullplop.

btw, the "Twitter Files" have been debunked. By lawyers working for Elon Musk :P

Hilarious. You wrote this? Proof trumperism is a mental illness. Elon's employees would call the FBI if he issued such an order. No "SpaceX ICBMs" would ever be fired.

Bing AI: SpaceX ... has no known capabilities or intentions to develop or launch ICBMs. Additionally, any such action would be illegal under international law... The use of ICBMs, especially if armed with nuclear warheads, could be classified as a war crime under the Geneva Conventions due to the indiscriminate nature and potential for massive civilian casualties. [end Bing response]

Elon would be charged and be taken into custody. Unless he fled, he'd end up in prison. Conceivably he could get the death penalty. Employees who carried out any such directives would also be charged.
