False equivalence. And you're for (if I remember correctly, and I am pretty sure I do) overturning Lawrence v Texas for public health reasons. Yet you opposed the covid vaccine mandate. Wow. That's a dual-standardish principle.
"...are you saying that the government has NO interest in public health?"
No, you are. When it comes to discriminating against groups you don't like. I very much DO believe the government has an interest in public health.
Refusing to be vaccinated is a behavior. One that has had a big negative impact on public health.
Engaging in unsafe sex (gay or straight) is a behavior the government should discourage. Outlawing gay sex (but not straight sex) is clearly discriminatory.
Maybe they're the ones that gave Boomers the idea that "if you can't afford kids, kill 'em in the womb."
America's short some 65 million people. Most of them would be GenX like me.
So Boomers retire, and unlike their parents that retired and had years of travel and vacations, Boomers died at work or shortly after retiring. GenX doesn't get to retire.
Boomers will "pay" when the market crashes. The "Fed Sponsored" quantitatively eased stock market rise from 2008-2021 is over. Boomers won't be retiring. My older brother had to work until he hit '70 (he had 4 kids). I put 3 kids through college, and got charged 3x the going rate for each for the privilege. The 'system' is designed to take your money and discourage property/ home ownership. It's a system for producing "proles". And it will end. Soon.
When "do not forsake the fellowship of believers" and "do not be unequally yoked to non-believers" converges to make you avoid stepping into a church.

Eeeeeyeah
PRAISE GOD! After 50 years of murder, Roe v Wade is overturned! HUMAN RIGHTS BEGIN IN THE WOMB!
ReplyDeleteFifty years of stupidity are 50 years too many.
ReplyDeleteThe illegitimate and corrupt scotus hypocrites just ruled that states have no right to regulate guns but do have the right to regulate women's bodies.
ReplyDeleteTime to expand the court. And/or to impeach the trumpturd scotus kings who lied in their Congressional testimony about Roe being settled law.
They can't regulate women's bodies but they can deny them the right to work unless their vaccinated? Wow. That's some dual-standardish principle.

ReplyDeleteSodomy is a vaccination process? Who knew?
ReplyDeleteLawrence v. Texas restricted behaviour. Vaccines are a behaviour? Who knew?
ReplyDeleteOr are you saying that the government has NO interest in public health?

Sodomy between heterosexuals is illegal, too. There's no "discrimination" in outlawing sodomy. It applies to all sexes. :)

ReplyDeleteThe retiring Baby Boomers called. They want their 65 million Gen X and Gen Y Social Security funding workers back.
Fine. Just dig up the graves of the Greatest Generation, and get them to return the money they stole for their retirements to the Boomers.
ReplyDeleteThe Boomers paid SSA their whole lives. They weren't the ones who never paid more for their benefits than they would ever collect.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they're the ones that gave Boomers the idea that "if you can't afford kids, kill 'em in the womb."

ReplyDeleteNow go back to hugging your chains and screaming "we have free markets".
ReplyDeleteDad retired at 72 and died at 74.
ReplyDelete"We (should try having) free markets"
Exactly.
