The Missouri bills never made it out of committee in the state House and Senate, but via other laws Missouri parents already have the ability to opt their kids out of sex ed classes with objectionable curricula. For the most part the resulting curricula as far as I know doesn't rock the boat because they would be a mass exodus if they did.
DeSantis collected money for and supported the Parental Rights in Education Bill. PP lobbied against it under the mantra "Stop the Don't Say Gay Bill". If there's any confusion, it was all deliberate on PP's behalf.
I wouldn't say I was pro or anti grooming. People need to earn a living. But with 3 dogs it cost my parents over $100 to get them all groomed. So I started doing it for them. They are well behaved but it still takes quite a bit of time to cut and wash one dog. When they need haircuts I'll just do one a day.
