College Voters a No Show for Joe

30 comments:

  1. "Biden beats tRump by a sizable margin in this poll" = "no show for Joe"? Who knew?

Anyway, voters in this age demo said they supported Bernie but failed him when the time to vote came. They are obviously FINE with "the lesser of two evils" or they'd have voted in the primaries in larger numbers. But Krystal Ball doesn't let that fact influence her bogus narrative.

  2. Hillary won by how much? LOL!

    Electoral College, baby!

  3. It's the economy, baby! How's the economy doing now, Minus? As you know, BAD. Now matter how you slice it, Dotard is responsible. By which I mean -- either you believe the truth, which is that Dotard bungled the coronavirus response... Or you believe bullshit (like you) which would be that Dotard shouldn't be listening to experts like Fauci and we should be going about business as usual.

And Krystal Ball is full of shit. As per her own reporting, the polls show Biden beating Dotard. Ball never mentioned the electoral college. And the electoral college does not ALWAYS favor the popular vote loser. Barack Obama, for example, won both (both times he was elected). Only republicans think it's awesome to win despite losing.

  4. DJT did make a mistake. He listened to "experts". We should have done like the Swedes. Problem for ball-less Democrats is that Biden would have doubled down on the lockdown and REALLY screwed the pooch. Too bad Biden's position is worse than Trump's on the economy. :)

  5. Too bad for Dotard that Biden's position on the economy is FAR superior. If Biden were president right now people would be thanking him his decisive and swift handling of the pandemic and praising him for the lives saved and quick lifting of the lockdown his competent leadership enabled. He'd do the exact opposite of what Dotard did and be a hero.

  6. One thing is for certain, if Biden HAD been President we wouldn't have even heard about the Corona virus. Biden's entire candidacy is a wishful return to the golden Obama age... when pandemics killed tens of thousands and everyone just shook their heads and muttered, "What a bad flu year,"

  7. Quote: In the U.S., between April 2009 and April 2010, the CDC estimates there were 60.8 million cases of swine flu, with over 274,000 hospitalizations and nearly 12,500 deaths... [end quote]

Looks like it's one "tens" for H1N1. Versus 50 "tens" and counting for coronavirus.

  8. Have you injected yourself with disinfectant yet? "God" told you to, so you better get on it, STAT. btw, when Dotard said it, he was NOT being sarcastic. That's just his excuse when asking foreign leaders to collude and/or after saying something incredibly stupid. So you should be dead already.

  9. I think you cured me by blowing so much sunshine up my ass, earlier.

...and you mean 5, not 50. That math thing really has you stumped, don't it?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yes, I meant 5. Although this math thing seems to have you more stumped than I. Given your belief that 12,500 is "tens of thousands" when it's only one "ten".

  11. Well unlike the COVID virus, the Swine flu people didn't get extra credit from CDC for labelling every primary cancer death and heart attack likely "Corona" caused.

  12. The number of confirmed cases was approximately 1.6 million.[6] However, some studies estimated that the actual number could be 700 million to 1.4 billion people—or 11 to 21 percent of the global population of 6.8 billion at the time.[12] The lower value of 700 million is more than the 500 million people estimated to have been infected by the Spanish flu pandemic.[13]

The number of lab-confirmed deaths reported to the WHO is 18,449,[7] though this 2009 H1N1 flu pandemic is estimated to have actually caused about 284,000 (range from 150,000 to 575,000) deaths.[14] A follow-up study done in September 2010 showed that the risk of serious illness resulting from the 2009 H1N1 flu was no higher than that of the yearly seasonal flu.[15] For comparison, the WHO estimates that 250,000 to 500,000 people die of seasonal flu annually.[9]

IMy guess ia that NOT testing really brings your death toll down. (by a factor of at lest 10).

  13. It pays "statisticaLly" to pretend you don't have a problem. And when the USA leads all countries in deaths, you can be assured thaat someone had to have cooked the books to get the most medicinally advanced country to do worse than a third world country ( unless respiraators really were killing people) which YOU deny.

  14. ...you can be assured that someone had to have cooked the books...

No, I'm assured that the USA is leading all countries in deaths because Dotard failed to act quickly :(

Also, NO, ventilators are not causing deaths. People are put on them as a last ditch effort to save their lives. In most cases they likely would have died anyway. If you think people should be denied the use of a ventilator (even if they want one) that's another matter (death panel).

  15. So...the most medically advanced nation on Earth had the MOST deaths from a relatively harmless virus because third world dictatos got better cooperation from their subjects than Deep State resistors gave to DJT? Wow. TDS really must be a Corona virus lethality multiplier!

    ReplyDelete
  16. We were talking about the coronavirus, not some other "relatively harmless virus". Also, those protesting "stay at home" orders belong to the (imaginary) "deep state"? Do YOU belong to the "deep state"? Anyway, YES, I think those people are likely spreading the coronavirus. Possibly also that "relatively harmless virus" you referred to. Although, given that it's relatively harmless, I don't know why anyone should be too concerned.

  17. Why would the Deep State protest their own authoritarian orders?

    ReplyDelete
  18. predisent Dotard at yesterday's "praise me"/misinformation rally: "...we had to close our country -- we had to close our economy. ... I had to turn it off to get to a point where we are today".

Dotard is clearly taking credit for the "authoritarian orders". The question is -- why are magaturds protesting their own leader's orders? Why are you?

  19. The country will be back open within a week or Fauci will hang from a tree on Pennsylvania Ave.

  20. That is Dotard's hail Mary. To force people to go out and risk being infected in order to vote him out of office.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Voting should require a bit of courage.

  22. It is another in the LONG list of ways that Dotard is cheating.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Blah, blah, blah. You're just another in a long list of sore losers.

    ReplyDelete
  24. "sore loser" is a natural response of someone who has been cheated.

    ReplyDelete
  25. BTW, you are a FAR LARGER sore winner. Even after gaining the presidency you (and your king) keep whining about imaginary coups and a fictional "deep state" being responsible for corruption and incompetence. So you can stuff your "sore loser" BS were the sun doesn't shine.
