Nothing is more cringe than a leftist trying to explain economics.

It's like consulting a potato about quantum physics.

...only because the economic system has broken, and the Libertarians have the proof.

The Prophet Dervish Z Sanders said...

No, it's because libertarianism doesn't work.

Show me a libertarian advocate of crony capitalism and I'll show you someone mislabeling themselves libertarian.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of effort that goes into "discrediting libertarianism" without actually touching libertarianism. Usually it's some dumbass, like Derpy, describing the product of socialism (like corporate welfare and bailouts) and calling it "libertarianism." No, dipshit, libertarianism's response to "too big to fail" government-subsidized monopolies would be to say "let it fail. Make popcorn."

Beamishderp's go to strawman is "you don't know what you're talking about". According to him, I probably didn't know what Libertarianism was until after I Googled "Ayn Rand". Then I Googled "Libertarianism".

No. If you had even done that bare minimum you'd realize that wrecking the soup with socialism's sewage then saying "libertarianism can't solve that" will only elicit a "why did you shit on your food" response.

Hint: Ayn Rand wasn't a Libertarian.

Hello?

Libertarian thought owes a helluva lot more to Benjamin Spooner, and even Bakunin, Kropotkin, and Tolstoy, before Ayn Rand's platitudes enter the conversation.

*Lysander Spooner... coffee hasn't kicked in yet

I never said she was.

You have associated Ayn Rand and libertarianism together so much when either topic comes up that we both know you're lying. Scrub your blogs at your convenience.

Demonstrate you're ready for an honest discussion by admitting you're a blithering imbecile

You never said she wasn't, either. You just kinda 'conflated by association'.

Ayn Rand: "...libertarians are a monstrous, disgusting bunch of people...".

The Prophet Dervish Z Sanders said...

Ayn Rand = pot that called the kettle black. She actually believed the evil she espoused was moral. Like I said, she was a terrible person.

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

Yeah, not stealing other people's work product IS so immoral...

The Prophet Dervish Z Sanders said...

Ayn Rand totally supported the theft of other people's work product. As do you. When the "other people" are the actual workers and the thieves are the parasitical rich.

In Ayn Rand's time, the Libertarian Party was split into factions that were alot more pronounced than they are today. And, in many ways she was right. Who can say the candidacies of Russell Means and "Vermin Supreme" weren't publicity-seeking / meme candidacies with no intellectual rigor?

^^^has never actually read Ayn Rand^^^

All Objectivists are libertarians, but not all libertarians are Objectivists.

I said I haven't read one of her books cover to cover. I didn't say I've never read anything Rand wrote.
