The Democratic Party have once again manufactured a crisis. This time the crisis is to insure their constituency that is too dumb to get a photo ID can still vote. Which of course also leaves the door open for their illegal immigrant voting bloc. OK fine, then forfeit your pay so that TSA agents don't need to go to food banks or pick up side hustles so they can feed their families. The Democratic Party has hit rock bottom.
If you wanted to give free IDs to everyone who qualified that would be one thing. But you'd also need to assign free case workers to assist people in obtaining documents they might have trouble obtaining. And the case worker would need to do the job with minimal assistance. If the person they were assisting had a job and didn't have the time to invest in acquiring documents. Or the money. And if all costs associated with obtaining the documentation was covered by the government, including paperwork for legal name changes for married women. But I think the price tag would be very high.
But the fact is that republicans aren't offering to cover these expenses or provide any assistance. "Dumbness" isn't the issue. Well, not for Democrats. It certainly is for republicans, as proven by the Anonymous comment.

btw, if I hear a minority say they hate White people, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they meant White Supremacists. Because I also hate them. But if they then said, "no, I mean all White people", I would condemn that. But I'd definitely need to clarify who they meant first, exactly. I'm not going to jump on someone for imprecisely articulating their outrage. Especially if we are actually in complete agreement about White Supremacists sucking.
