  2. TOLEDO, Ohio - An Ohio man was indicted by a federal grand jury earlier this week for threatening to kill Vice President JD Vance.

The Justice Department reported that 33-year-old Shannon Mathre has been charged with threatening to kill Vance while the vice president was visiting Ohio last month.

According to the indictment, Mathre said he was going to find Vance and “use my M14 automatic gun and kill him.”

  3. You don’t heal division by institutionalizing it. You don’t bring people together by telling them they need separate songs before they can stand under the same flag. And you don’t strengthen a nation by implying that its core symbols are negotiable based on audience demographics.
And You Don’t Tell Your Audience That “You are Going To ONLY Speak Spanish In A Country That Speaks English! But You Can Dance If You Don’t Understand Me!”
Personally I Blame the NFL The NFL because they didn’t accidentally stumble into this. It has carefully planed and curated a pregame lineup with somebody that told us in advance that HE was a troublemaker as if the country itself must now be introduced to more diversity.
Bringing in someone with a wide range of human differences within a group or society, including race, gender, age, ability, ethnicity, this is not problem-solving, It signifies the variety of perspectives, experiences, and identities that enhance innovation, problem-solving, and organizational performance.
This wasn’t a Classroom, or a Museum, or a Cultural Celebration. This was the Super Bowl, America’s most-watched secular ceremony. Symbols placed here are not neutral. They are declarations. A National Anthem exists for a reason. It is not meant to represent every personal history, grievance, or even cultural lineage. It represents the Nation as a whole flawed, imperfect, but shared. Introducing parallel anthems before the biggest civic spectacle in American sports sends a clear message, even if it is only a Sport. We are no longer one people with one National story, but a collection of identity blocs demanding separate ceremonial recognition.
First, this group. Then, that group. Then, eventually, the entire Nation. That ordering tells a story, and it’s not a unifying one! You don’t heal division by institutionalizing it. You don’t bring people together by telling them they need separate songs, or dances from separate places in the world before they can partake in the same arena. Especially when the individual warns his audiance in advance. And when half of the audiance is entirely against it. . And you don’t strengthen a Nation by implying that its core symbols are negotiable based on audience demographics! Talent and beauty cannot mask the underlying message. This was an act of disunity, not respect. The National Anthem is meant to be the one place where identity politics stop at the door. When we need to have two Separate halftime shows so that everyone would be satisfied, something is not right! We would have been just as satisfied, or even more so if we has ONE halftime show that Honored the American Hero who was shot down in the Prime of his life. Replacing or supplementing it with race-based alternatives doesn’t heal wounds it reopens them and calls it harmony. Our Country is so screwed when we engage in identity politics or sit idly by when others try to divide America by Class, Sex, Race, or any other Characteristics.

  4. It's time for the owners in the NFL to give Roger Goodell the boot! He constantly disrespects the fans and basically gives us the middle finger! He seems to go out of the way towards poking the fans in the eye!
Out on a Halftime show with some one who don’t or won’t speak English is a Slap in our Faces.

  6. A claim that Super Bowl half-time show star Bad Bunny gave his Grammy to Liam Ramos, a young boy who was detained by US immigration enforcement, WAS NOT TRUE. And was as phony as Bad Bunny’s Show.
While the Alternative show nu Turning Point USA was a tremendous hit.

  7. During his Super Bowl half-time show last night Puerto Rican star Bad Bunny handed his Grammy award to a child - leading to a viral claim on X the recipient was a boy who’d been detained by US immigration agents last month.
The post - which has been seen 10 million times - said it was Liam Ramos, a five-year-old who was held along with his father by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minnesota.
However, the boy was later revealed to be a child actor called Lincoln Fox. A video, posted to his Instagram account, showed the Grammy award moment being broadcast on a big screen inside the stadium.
The NFL’s choice to use Bad Bunny for the half-time show generated widespread complaints from supporters of US President Donald Trump - particularly after he called for “ICE out” in a victory speech at the Grammy Awards.
Trump, who did not attend this year's Super Bowl, called Bad Bunny's set "absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!" on his social media platform Truth Social.
    And I agree.
