The imaginary "guilt pride" is your "truth", not mine. I categorically reject "guilt pride". FYI, guilt causes me sorrow, not pride. At least for me it does. I don't know about weirdos like you.
That's just it, you don't feel guilty because you now have the German Nazi-esque pride (guilt-pride spirit) of NOT being a Nazi and can indiscriminately bash any other German person's thought or action that seems even "vaguely" Nazi-like.... Authoritarianism, Jew-hatred, military orders and BANISH their political parties. It all makes you "feel" proud. If the Palestinians are slaughtered by Jews, hey! The Jews had been Nazi victims... you've GOT to support them. It's only "Social Justice", after all!
Or say you were a Democrat and fought to keep blacks in slavery.... you'd need to support all blacks no matter how criminally they behaved. It's only "social justice", after all. Atonement and restorative justice!
That's out therapy narrative, and we're sticking with it. We're trapped in the self-referential and recursive Ourabouros loop, and there's NO escaping it... guilt... pride...guilt... pride.
Michael Levin: " Some cells will die. New cells will be born. Material goes in and out. Unlike in our computational devices, you're not committed to the fidelity of information the way that we are in our computation. You are committed to the salience of that information. So you will need to take those memory traces and reinterpret them for whatever your future situation is. In the case of the butterfly (metamorphosis), completely different. In the case of the adult human, somewhat different than your brain when you were a child. But even during adulthood, the context, your mental context, your environment, everything changes. And I think you don't really have an allegiance to what these memories meant in the past. You reinterpret them dynamically. And so this gives a kind of view of the self, kind of a process view of the self, that what we really are is a continuous dynamic attempt at storytelling, where what you're constantly doing is interpreting your own memories in a way that makes sense, a coherent story about what you are, what you believe about the outside world. And it's a constant process of self-construction. So that, I think, is what's going on with selves"
You're not proud that you only affirm minorities, and never criticize them? Because isn't that why you're here, to denounce me for often being critical of them, of acknowledging their symmetry in agency and capability (the ability to do bad things)?
Criticize decisions and actions, not honesr people.
Dishonest people like tRump and his dishonest supporting sycophants are just fine to criticize. A knowingly dishonest person deserves no consideration.
Trump's murdering people and playing "the knockout game" on the streets of DC? Who knew? Derv likes that. He can't criticize elements of black culture, only "affirm' it.
"Inversion of the truth" = exactly. That is the trumper plan. You carry it out daily on this blog.
ReplyDelete...and Guilt-Pride Spirit is your daily magic trick that transforms something BAD into something GOOD!
DeleteI simply invert the trauma therapy tech (guilt-pride) that built YOUR "truth", and call Bad and Good by their original names again.

Jews and blacks can't be assholes. They're victims, and we must lead them through their trauma... and make them feel safe again.

DeleteIt's your self-referential "identity" narrative.
DeleteThere are just sooooo many living concentration camp survivors and traumatized black slaves out there to heal...
Delete...cuz life is a project. A project of fixing the past, and not living for or aiming at the future.
DeleteThat's the essence of progressivism, right?
