Restore the original US media protections of the 1948 Smith-Mundt Act from before its' politicized "Modernization" under Obama in 2012. For a man with Harvard credentials in both college and law, Schumer seems to have an astonishingly poor grasp of the Constitution and the founding values that built this nation. Weak, feckless, and opportunistic, Schumer thrives on outrage while ignoring his own hypocrisy.

Chuck Schumer’s Idea of Free Speech is a Double Standard Schumer loudly postures as a defender of free speech, when it benefits his political allies. But when speech originates from his political adversaries, suddenly his commitment to “democratic values” vanishes!.
When a liberal comedian gets benched, Schumer explodes in righteous fury. He screams about free speech, democracy, and dictators. Suddenly, every action is “a threat to America.”
This isn’t democracy. This is Schumer’s own authoritarian streak showing through. He’s fine with free speech for his friends but calls for gag orders on his enemies. Chuck Schumer embodies the very definition of “free speech for me, not for thee.” He wraps himself in the flag of democracy while undermining its core principles. His record shows that he defends speech but only when it comes from his allies!

For democrats, it's all about their twisted politico- religious ideology of hate, self-hate and exclusion, and so the Stanislaus County, California, Democratic Party rejected an invitation from the local Republican Party to attend a vigil Friday honoring the memory of Charlie Kirk because, its leader explained, Charlie Kirk was a “Fascist.”

ABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show indefinitely beginning yesterday, Sept. 17, after untrue comments that he made about about Charlie Kirk.

The veteran late-night comic made several remarks about the reaction to the conservative activist’s assassination last week on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Monday and Tuesday nights, including that “many in MAGA land are working very hard to capitalize on the murder of Charlie Kirk” desperately trying to characterize” Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old charged in Kirk’s murder, as “anything other than one of them.”
ABC, which has aired Kimmel’s late-night show since 2003, moved swiftly after Nexstar Communications Group said it would pull the show starting Wednesday. Kimmel’s comments about Kirk’s death “are offensive and totally insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse,” said Andrew Alford, president of Nexstar’s broadcasting division. Nexstar operates 23 ABC affiliates.
There was no immediate comment from Kimmel, whose contract is up in May 2026. ABC’s statement did not cite a reason for why his show was preempted.
Trump celebrated ABC’s move on the social media site Truth Social, writing: “Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done.”
Earlier in the day, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr called Kimmel’s comments “truly sick” and said his agency has a strong case for holding Kimmel, ABC and network parent Walt Disney Co. accountable for spreading misinformation.
