Do We Have an Antifragile Economy? LOL!

  1. Do we have anti-fragile Universe? ;-P

  2. Very. It's lasted billions of years, and it "evolves" based upon changing conditions 9including "physics"?

  3. It was breaking and destroying itself... for billions years (but that, subjective... bacterias in a petri dish feel themself comfy too... until).

Do you know about Spontaneous breaking of Symmetry?

About what Black Holes do with whole galaxies?

    And other such astrophysical horror?

    ;-P

  4. The Universe is a blob of Energy/ Mass. Energy is neither created nor destroyed. It get's "re-arranged"... sometimes as mass, sometimes as a vacuum of space. But even after billions of years, it's still here. And with every "change" life appears to gain some form of "collective intelligence". Which IMHO, makes it increasingly "anti-fragile".

  5. Humanity has reached a point where it becomes possible that some variant of it's current form could actually escape this specific location in stellar space, and travel to a "safer" one before our star extinguishes itself, and our solar system. Why? Because we are no longer a bacteria that cannot escape his petri dish.

  6. We, as a life form, have become increasing "anti-fragile". Conversely the society which holds it together moves in the "opposite" direction.

  7. That and $2.49 will buy you a coffee.

  8. Minus: Humanity has reached a point where it becomes possible that some variant of it's current form could actually escape this specific location in stellar space, and travel to a "safer" one before our star extinguishes itself...

    That is total science FICTION.

  9. I don't patronize Starbucks stores, but the Kuerig's are pnly about $1.49

  10. I said that it has become "possible", provided our fragile social system holds. Two new wars aren't a good sign.

  11. \\And with every "change" life appears to gain some form of "collective intelligence". Which IMHO, makes it increasingly "anti-fragile".

We have ONE specimen example... and without it spreading among stars... it's as good as nonexistant.

    Anti-fragile, my ass...

\\Because we are no longer a bacteria that cannot escape his petri dish.

    Are we?

Musk seems like postponed his crusade to the Mars... in favour of silly games with X.

\\We, as a life form, have become increasing "anti-fragile".

That is... based on fossile fuels. That soon will disappear...

    \\That is total science FICTION.

    Yap.

And YOU are Fake Progressive. ;-P

\\ Two new wars aren't a good sign.

Who knows... previous two... world wars... gave astonishing boost to the progress.

Whole that dream about "stars" became possible because of one "nordic tribe" became proficient with making doomsday machines. ;-P

As you said it... Zero's Law. ;-P

  12. Well, it's like Plato says in "Statesman" and Lem say's in Cyberiad, the orderly class get increasingly "silly" so the courageous class need to slap them out of it.

And you can EXPLAIN where and how? With QUOTES? :-))))))

Naaaah. Because you are mere sock-puppet -- have no own brains.

\\...so the courageous class need to slap them out of it.

And what that "courageous class" would do with tha power?

    I profess -- the same. ;-P

  15. Courage... antithetic to wisdom.

    Or so they say...

    ReplyDelete
  16. No, Justice. Courage is antithetical to Temperance. "Do, or Do NOT."

  17. To choose when to "do" and when to "not do" -- wisdom needed. Big time.

Well... most of the time such a "wisdom" it's just a pretentious cover... for negligance.

    Yawn.

    Same as pretentious courage. ;-P

  18. All differnce -- one being a priori... while another a posteriori.

  19. I advise Wisdom, not Justice, for Ukraine. For those are the true opposites at work.

  20. Yap.

    Because it's not your pain...

    Fair enough.

Only, chances of it becoming your pain rising that way...

    And that is not wise.

But well, again, that is your higherups headache, not yours.
