That Anti-Trump Judge Caves: As He Cannot Overrule The Supreme Court The U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg recently REFUSED to grant the American Civil Liberties Union an emergency order blocking deportations under the Alien Enemies Act. The ACLU sought a 30-day period for individuals facing deportation to challenge their removal. Boasberg sympathized with their concerns but claimed he lacks the authority to issue a nationwide temporary restraining order Boo Hoo. He is simply noting there wasn't anything he could do with the Supreme Court ruling his deadline had already passed.
Nothing changes concerning either of the Supreme Court rulings (9-0 and 7-2) that went against Trump.
